In 2014 I had the good fortune to work as a country relief for the Department of Child Protection in Western Australia. I got to see some remarkable places in the state, most of which I wouldn't have ordinarily visited. It gave me a great insight into the blend of the natural and artificial in country.
The minute replicates the macro. Fly above scenery and you'll see valleys, rivers, roads, natural contours. So too do I see in leaves, a rich tapestry of veins and arteries.
